We are Jeroen and Rachelle, and since May 2024 we’ve been living on the beautiful island of Madeira.
Our first visit was in June 2022. We had heard so many wonderful stories about the island, and our curiosity was sparked.
And everyone was right – what an incredible place!
We quickly fell in love with the island. The pleasant climate, breathtaking nature, and kind people gave us an immediate sense of coming home. We soon found ourselves dreaming about building a life here and what we wanted to do.
One of the first ideas that came to mind was to open guest accommodations — a place where we could welcome others and share our love and enthusiasm for Madeira.
Of course, not everything went smoothly. Emigrating and starting a business came with challenges, but also with beautiful and valuable experiences.
What started as a dream soon became reality.
